The Radical MP, the sweet spot of the Radical series of racquets, has been updated with state-of-the-art Auxetic technology to improve impact feel and playability for an all-court, strong beginner to experienced player.
The head size is on the smaller side of average which enables greater control potential for those consistent with it's smaller sweet spot. The string pattern is slightly denser than the typical 16/19 racquet which means that there is a higher density of the strings in the sweet spot which translates to a greater degree of control while maintaining the easier access to spin that open string patterns are known for. The weight being a little heavier than average at 10.6 ounces (unstrung) brings greater stability, plow-through and stopping power for increased power potential, big return of serves and the ability to load up on spin for those who can swing it. Its head-light balance (unstrung) increases your ability to move the frame quickly, an important factor in generating power as well as being conducive to fast movements at the net for game-changing volleys or being able to swing fast for greater spin generation.
On the technology side, HEAD brings Auxetic technology to the Radical line. Head's Auxetic is an adaptive technology that optimizes ball feedback depending on where the ball is hit on the stringbed. The Graphene technology is being used to strengthen the frame for enhanced stability and power.
